Gifted Education

Since 1984, the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) has provided gifted and talented students in grades K-11 with exciting educational programs that balance academics with social, cultural and recreational opportunities. With a mix of international and U.S. participants, SIG students have the opportunity to learn about other cultures and make friends from all parts of the globe.

SIG is the program of the National Society for the Gifted & Talented, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) foundation created to honor and encourage gifted and talented (G&T) children and youth. It is committed to acknowledging and supporting the needs of G&T children and youth by providing recognition of their significant academic and artistic accomplishments and access to educational resources and advanced learning opportunities directly related to their interests and talent areas.
